This is all kinds of awesome! Yes, there is still the overarching doom of the all out war perpetrated by Benedict Cumberbatch’s John Harrison (or is he?) but finally we get to see some shots of the Enterprise in space, just like it’s supposed to be and the crew in their Starfleet uniforms rather than looking like super spies. What is that ship that the Enterprise is facing off? Some kind of Starfleet Leviathan? It’s GIANT.
And Kirk saying sorry to the crew as they face certain death. Powerful stuff. May cannot come soon enough.
Star Trek Into Darkness is released May 9 in the UK and May 17 in the US
