What is this? Satire on movie marketing? I had no idea movie trailers could still be this funny but then again this is The Muppets. Kermit and friends’ return to the big screen was an unexpected delight in 2011 so hopes are high for this follow up. The bad news is that Jason Segel, who starred and wrote that film won’t be returning, while Ricky Gervais has been given a starring roll. Perhaps the Muppets are the only ones that can turn that double negative into a positive. If the film produces as many laughs per minute as this trailer then it could be something pretty special.
