Peter Capaldi has now occupied the TARDIS for two seasons but while he’s redecorated, he’s been travelling with Jenna Coleman’s Clara, who still somehow felt like she worked far better in Matt Smith’s era.
So it will be fascinating to see how the dynamic changes now that Pearl Mackie has been announced as his new co-star playing Bill.
More details will of course follow before the next episode at Christmas before we prepare for Steven Moffat’s final season in early 2017.
