Captain America: The Winter Soldier promises to be a very different film from The First Avenger with the super solider removed from his 1940s comfort zone and new trying to find a place in the 21st century. There were some signs of his new circumstances in The Avengers and this film continues with him working as an SHIELD Agent and partnered up with Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanov.
Setting this firmly within the Avengers world is the return of Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill and Samuel L Jackson’s Nick Fury. Robert Redford also stars in what Marvel are describing as a political thriller.
