GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY TRAILER AND CHARACTER PROFILES
Here’s the trailer for Marvel’s Guardian’s of the Galaxy, the first new adaptation the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Captain America: The First Avenger back in 2011. This trailer does exactly what you would like from a property that the general public is not completely familiar with and introduces the concept and characters fairly explicitly.
To compliment that set-up, there are some character profiles to add a little depth. This is smart marketing, introducing a whole new world to general audiences before they pay too much for a ticket. The trailer combines the new with the familiar with echoes of Indiana Jones and Star Wars all wrapped up with Marvel’s trademark snark ramped up to 11.
