They’ve remade Ghostbusters. The surviving original cast have endorsed it by appearing in cameos but stepping into the considerable void left by Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson are Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. They may face a challenge winning over existing fans with many regarding the original as the holy grail of 80s comedy cinema.
Still, it’s from director Paul Feig who has proved to be the most reliable comedy director of recent years with Bridesmaids remaining his signature move. This looks to hit all the original moments that you all remember but with all new characters who essentially have the same traits of the old characters but are all new actors with different names.
