Based on the international bestselling novels by Diana Gabaldon, Outlander has been adapted for television by Ronald D Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek: The Next Generation) and stars Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Tobias Menzie and Gary Lewis. Except time travel, swords and Scottish accents aplenty when Outlander premieres in the summer of 2014.
