The world didn’t really need a sequel to Finding Nemo but with two original offerings from Pixar in 2016, with the outstanding Inside Out and promising The Good Dinosaur coming soon, you can’t blame them for delving into their back catalogue for some guaranteed box office gold, you know because that’s always been a problem for them.
Finding Dory takes place six months after Nemo has been found and focusses on Dory, as she finally remembers something about her childhood, and sets out on an adventure that finally takes her to the Monterey Marine Life Institute where she finds her parents played by Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy.
Returning cast members include Ellen Degeneres as Dory, Albert Brooks as Marlin and Willem Dafoe as Gill alongside newcomers and former The Wire stars Idris Elba and Dominic West.
Finding Dory arrives in cinemas on 29 July 2016 in the UK
