Making a movie about LEGO might seem like a stupid idea. Sure, Transformers only exists in movie form in order to sell more toys but LEGO is just little blocks of plastic that stick together. It’s not like anyone would entertain the idea of Mechano movie or Battleship………oh. With film spin-off video games it proved LEGO had a life beyond plastic and also demonstrated a great sense of humour. This trailer shows some glorious silliness and if the film can keep that going for the duration, it could be something special.
Voice talent includes Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman and Will Ferrell.
The LEGO Movie will be released 14 February 2014 in the UK and on 7 February 2014 in the US
